#DigitalWallet is the top hat of most digital transformations as it is a key contributor to level 5 of the maturity framework (automation). The World Bank Group has issued a set of documents on the topic and is running awareness campaigns to facilitate adoption in countries.

Among the key benefits:

Privacy Protection solved — you own your data and decide which ones to share and with whom.

Cyber attack risks decreased — de-concentrating data from registries to wallets, moving back to an issuance mode rather than an API-based mode.

User Experience improved — no more need to carry your documents, no more need to fill forms and scan justificative documents, no more waiting for visual verification.
