Reconnecting with Steven Matainaho: SevisWallet and PNG’s sustainability journey

Another great reconnection at ID4Africa with Steven Matainaho, Secretary of the PNG Department of Information and Communications Technology.

Steven came to share about a fresh Digital Wallet, #SevisWallet, recently launched. It’s an important component of PNG’s sustainability model, particularly for engagement with banks.

We first met back in October 2023 in Port Moresby, and ID30 supported his team to build the citizen’s portal #SevisPortal and the first version of #SevisPass, as well as on their sustainability model.

Looking forward to re-engage with Papua New Guinea’s extraordinary journey and tremendous regular digital progress.
