Three years later: working with island states, from Tarawa
Being your own boss is often very hard. It comes with a lot of sacrifice and effort. But if you are persistent, it lets you make your dreams real.
Three years ago, a first idea came to my mind: to work with Small Island Developing States (SIDS). For three reasons:
- the challenge they can represent;
- the unique culture and the human size of these countries;
- and of course, the chance to enjoy places that look like paradise.
Three years later, I am lucky to be in Tarawa, in the middle of the Pacific. On a quiet Sunday, I am preparing next week’s workshops, which kick off ID30’s fourth assignment with an island state.
