Reconnecting with Commandant Silété Devo: ID30’s first trusted partner, now driving Togo past 50% eID coverage
We reconnected with Commandant Silété Devo at ID4Africa.
He was the first government executive to trust me at the very beginning of the ID30 story — he hired me as an accompanying consultant for 3 years, and I’m very grateful to him for that. 🙏🏼
He’s not only a highly respected military officer; he’s also the excellent Director General of ANID Togo, which has now already registered more than 50% of the population for the unique eID Togo. 🚀
He carries a deep sense of humanity, working hard for his country and its population, always pursuing excellence with a pragmatic mindset to make sure the most vulnerable are not left behind. 🤎
Glad we could spend a bit of time together and catch up on the latest progress of digitalisation in Togo. 🇹🇬
I regularly share lessons from Togo and hope this can be a new chapter of our collaboration — helping share ANID’s experience with countries at earlier stages of identification digitalisation. 🌍
